The Second Coming of Reb YHSHWH by Carlo Suares

Available here : The Second Coming of Reb YHShWH
Carlo Suares was a biblical scholar and extraordinary student of the Kabbalah who developed a very personal, idiosyncratic, and compelling vision of mystical Christianity. He speaks in beautiful language, imagery, and poetical mystical concepts to the modern seeker of a genuine relationship with the divine.
His focus in this book is the so-called second coming of Jesus, or the Reb Yhshwh, as he insists on calling him (doing the Reb, he says, the courtesy of calling him by his real name, as well as attempting to shed, by this simple act, the overlay of Hellenistic mystery religion grafted on to Yhshwh's thoroughly semitic teaching by the Hellenistically educated and influenced evangelists, Paul in particular). To him, the second coming is an immanent event in the here and now, happening within consciousness. It is a dual movement towards monistic consciousness while still being rooted in the personal perspective of the individual. A non-dual awareness and vision of form and emptiness, the noumenal and the phenomenal, the sacred and profane, unity and diversity, results from this movement inconsciousness. He provides straightforward, as well as interpretive and Kabbalistic, references to both the Canonical and Gnostic gospels to make his point, consistently using the figure of Peter, "the Rock," in both his roles as founder of the hierarchical church and the disciple who's consciousness was most rooted in materialism, as a counterpoint to the consciousness Yhshwh enables and opens in humanity. That consciousness has much in common with that described in the literature of other non-dual mystical philosophies, such as Advaita Vedanta, Mahayana Buddhism, and Hindu Tantra, but Suares' spin on it remains very much his own and never sinks to the level of the generic spiritual insight.

This is a complex and wonderful book, challenging the reader, and going way beyond the superficial treatments of mystical Christianity that are currently popular in the New Age press. Suares seeks not to convince, but rather, to allow his readers to think, feel, and experience directly, for themselves, in a spiritual fashion. He seeks to give a taste of Gnosis, the Gnosis offered by Reb Yhshwh, whom he unabashedly claims as his spiritual inspiration and teacher, while thoroughly rejecting mainstream churches of every persuasion.

In the current renaissance of interest in both historical and contemporary Gnosticism, Carlo Suares is a name that is not well known, but needs to be. - Review by Tom Nash

I Love You and Buddha too .....

Oh Jesus I Love you, and I Love Buddha too, Rama Krishna, Guru Dev, Dao de Jing and Mohammad.

These are (some of) the secret sayings that the living Jesus spoke and Didymos Judas Thomas recorded:

1. And he said, "Whoever discovers the interpretation of these sayings will not taste death."

2. Jesus said, "Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel, and will reign over all. [And after they have reigned they will rest.]"

3. Jesus said, "If your leaders say to you, 'Look, the (Father's) kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the (Father's) kingdom is within you and it is outside you.
When you know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will understand that you are children of the living Father. But if you do not know yourselves, then you live in poverty, and you are the poverty."

4. Jesus said, "The person old in days won't hesitate to ask a little child seven days old about the place of life, and that person will live.
For many of the first will be last, and will become a single One."

5. Jesus said, "Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you. For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed. [And there is nothing buried that will not be raised.]"

18. The disciples said to Jesus, "Tell us, how will our end come?"
Jesus said, "Have you found the beginning, then, that you are looking for the end? You see, the end will be where the beginning is.
Congratulations to the one who stands at the beginning: that one will know the end and will not taste death."

19. Jesus said, "Congratulations to the one who came into being before coming into being.

77. Jesus said, "I am the light that is over all things. I am all: from me all came forth, and to me all attained. Split a piece of wood; I am there.
Lift up the stone, and you will find me there."

48. Jesus said, "If two make peace with each other in a single house, they will say to the mountain, 'Move from here!' and it will move."

49. Jesus said, "Congratulations to those who are alone and chosen, for you will find the kingdom. For you have come from it, and you will return there again."

50. Jesus said, "If they say to you, 'Where have you come from?' say to them, 'We have come from the light, from the place where the light came into being by itself, established [itself], and appeared in their image.'

113. His disciples said to him, "When will the kingdom come?"
"It will not come by watching for it. It will not be said, 'Look, here!' or 'Look, there!' Rather, the Father's kingdom is spread out upon the earth, and people don't see it."

Black Elk, Lao Tzu, Aldous Huxley, Dalai Lama, Marcus Aurelius, Carlos Barrios

"The first peace, which is the most important, is that which comes from within the souls of people when they realize their relationship, their oneness with the universe and all its powers, and when they realize that at the centre of the universe, dwells the Great Spirit, and that this centre is really everywhere, it is within each of us." - Black Elk

The greatest wisdom is in simplicity, Love, respect, tolerance, sharing, gratitude, forgiveness. It's not complex or elaborate. The real knowledge is free. It's encoded in your DNA. All you need is within you. Great teachers have said that from the beginning. Find your heart, and you will find your way. -Carlos Barrios

"Through the practice of sitting still and following your breath as it goes out and dissolves, you are connecting with your heart. By simply letting yourself be, as you are, you develop genuine sympathy towards yourself.
By simply being on the spot, your life can become workable and even wonderful. You realize that you are capable of sitting like a king or queen on a throne. The regalness of that situation shows you the dignity that comes from being still and simple." ~ Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche

"If we penetrate deeply into all aspects and all areas of life, we will find that hidden behind everything is love. We will discover that love is the force, the power and inspiration behind every word and every action. This applies to all people, irrespective of race, caste, creed, sect, religion or of what work people do." - Amma

"The finest emotion of which we are capable is the mystic emotion. Herein lies the germ of all art and all true science. Anyone to whom this feeling is alien, who is no longer capable of wonderment and lives in a state of fear is a dead man. To know that what is impenetrable for us really exists and manifests itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty, whose gross forms alone are intelligible to our poor faculties - this knowledge, this feeling ... that is the core of the true religious sentiment. In this sense, and in this sense alone, I rank myself among profoundly religious men." - Albert Einstein

"We often think of peace as the absence of
war; that if the powerful countries would reduce their arsenals, we
could have peace. But if we look deeply into the weapons, we see our
own minds - our prejudices, fears, and ignorance. Even if we
transported all the bombs to the moon, the roots of war and the reasons
for bombs would still be here, in our hearts and minds, and sooner or
later we would make new bombs. Seek to become more aware of what causes
anger and separation, and what overcomes them. Root out the violence in
your life, and learn to live compassionately and mindfully"-Thich Nhat Hanh

Always we hope someone else has the answer. some other place will be better, some other time it will all turn out. This is it. no one else has the answer. no other place will be better, and it has already turned out. At the center of your being you have the answer; you know who you are and you know what you want. There is no need to run outside for better seeing. Nor to peer from a window. Rather abide at the center of your being; for the more you leave it, the less you learn. Search your heart and see the way to do is to be. ~Lao Tzu~

A child-like person is not one whose development has been arrested; on the contrary, but a person who has given theirself a chance of continuing to develop long after most adults have muffled themselves in the cocoon of middle-aged habit and convention."
~Aldous Huxley~

"People usually consider walking on water or in thin air, a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air,but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize:a blue sky, white clouds, the green leaves the black, curious eyes of a child~our own two eyes. All is a Miracle." ~Thich Nhat Hanh

We can live without religion and meditation, but we cannot survive without human affection. - Dalai Lama

"Our life is what our thoughts make it." - Marcus Aurelius

Magic is believing in yourself, if you can do that, you can make anything happen. - Goethe

Baruch Spinoza and the Nazarene - Namaste !

I had to read Baruch Spinoza, Albert Einstein, Carl Sagan, the Isha Upanishads, Siddhartha and the Zohar to understand what Jesus was talking about. In the aramaic, Jesus (Yahshua the Nazarene) always calls "God" Abwun. (Aba Father) or "Father in Heaven" - the letters also mean the cosmic Light within all things (Aleph+ Bayt) . Slowly Christians are starting to see that Jesus was some sort of Master of Tao (The Way) who saw that the Light exists in everything so that the 1st Law is the same as the 2nd Law. Love God (the Light within ALL) as your neighbor, as yourself - whatsoever you do to the least of your brothers that you do unto me. Jesus says "I am in my Father (Abwun) and I am in you and you are in me (John 14:20) Once you realize that everything is connected you cannot harm another - I think the Buddha also says that, so do not hate, show only kindness, compassion and understanding. Then you will discover the true Light that Jesus was talking about. - Within yourself. Luke 17:21

Namaste (the Light in me sees the Light in you)

"I honor the Spirit in you which is also in me." -- attributed to but not claimed by author Deepak Chopra
"I honor the place in you in which the entire Universe dwells, I honor the place in you which is of Love, of Integrity, of Wisdom and of Peace. When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, we are One."
"I salute the God within you."
"Your spirit and my spirit are ONE." -- attributed to Lilias Folan's shared teachings from her journeys to India.[citation needed]
"That which is of God in me greets that which is of God in you."
"The Divinity within me perceives and adores the Divinity within you."
"All that is best and highest in me greets/salutes all that is best and highest in you."
"I greet the God within."
"The light in me sees the light in you" -- attributed to Bridget Laureira's experience with yoga practice in New York City.

I agree with the Dalai Lama. We need Compassion and Unconditional Love.

I agree with the Dalai Lama’s claim that “the essential message of all religions is very much the same.” – He calls it compassion.

Yes, Love your enemy and there is no enemy. Unconditional Love. It's what is needed.

Jesus did not come to die on the cross. He came to Live and he died because he said he was "yod heh", that He was One with Abwun.

The Nazorean came to remind us of 2 things. Love your Neighbor as yourself. Love "Abwun" with all your heart, mind and soul.

Something to read–> "Everything is God" - http://bit.ly/d2YznV

There is “one truth” behind the “many faiths,” and that core truth, he argues, is compassion. – Dalai Lama (True)

The Perennial Philosophy - Aldous Huxley

PHILOSOPHIA PERENNIS - the phrase was coined by Leibniz; but the thing - the metaphysic that recognizes a divine Reality substantial to the world of things and lives and minds; the psychology that finds in the soul something similar to, or even identical with, divine Reality; the ethic that places man's final end in the knowledge of the immanent and transcendent Ground of all being - the thing is immemorial and universal. - Introduction to The Perennial Philosophy by Aldous Huxley

The Perennial Philosophy is primarily concerned with the One, divine Reality substantial to the manifold world of things and lives and minds. But the nature of this one Reality is such that it cannot be directly and immediately apprehended except by those who have chosen to fulfil certain conditions, making themselves loving, pure in heart, and poor in spirit. Why should this be so ? We do not know. - Aldous Huxley

Living Buddha, Living Christ by Thich Nhat Hanh

Found this on the book shelf. Forgot I had it.

— Thich Nhat Hanh (Living Buddha, Living Christ)

"As Buddhists or Christians... understanding is the most important component for transformation. If we talk to each other there is a possibility that we can understand the other person better. When we understand another person, we understand ourselves better. - Thich Nhat Hanh (Living Buddha, Living Christ)

Everything Is God: The Radical Path of Nondual Judaism

"This exploration of the radical, yet ancient, idea that everything and everyone is God will transform how you understand your life and the nature of religion itself. While God is conventionally viewed as an entity separate from us, there are some Jews—Kabbalists, Hasidim, and their modern-day heirs—who assert that God is not separate from us at all. In this nondual view, everyone and everything manifests God. For centuries a closely guarded secret of Kabbalah, nondual Judaism is a radical reorientation of religious life that is increasingly influencing mainstream Judaism today.
Writer and scholar Jay Michaelson presents a wide-ranging and compelling explanation of nondual Judaism: what it is, its traditional and contemporary sources, its historical roots and philosophical significance, how it compares to nondual Buddhism and Hinduism, and how it is lived in practice. He explains what this mystical nondual view means in our daily ego-centered lives, for our communities, and for the future of Judaism." Click to Order : Everything is God

What is God ? What did Jesus say ?

What is God ? For starters how did Jesus refer to God ? He always used the word "Father", but how do you say "Father" in Aramaic ? AB.The "Our Father" starts with the aramaic words "Abwun"
He used the letter/numbers Aleph-Bayt. That's the key to understanding What "God" is. In Kabbalah the letter Aleph+Bayt combination means the Cosmic Light within. That is what "God" is. That is what Yeshua was also referring to in Luke 17:21 "The Kingdom of God is within" Where and What is God ? Within you, within your neighbor, within that tree, within that rock. Everything is God.

Release the chains of darkness Let me see, Lord let me see; - Johnny Cash

Oh, lord, help me walk
Another mile, just one more mile;
I'm tired of walkin' all alone.

And lord, help me to smile
Another smile, just one more smile;
Don't think I can do things on my own.

I never thought I needed help before;
Thought that I could get by - by myself.
But now I know I just can't take it any more.
And with a humble heart, on bended knee,
I'm beggin' You please for help

Oh come down from Your golden throne to me, to lowly me;
I need to feel the touch of Your tender hand.
Release the chains of darkness
Let me see, Lord let me see;
Just where I fit into your master plan.

I never thought I needed help before;
Thought that I could get by - by myself.
Now I know I just can't take it any more.
And with a humble heart, on bended knee,
I'm beggin' You please for help
With a humble heart, on bended knee,
I'm beggin' You please for help

I Love you and Buddha too.

Lyrics to Mason Jennings "I Love you and Buddha too"

Oh Jesus, I love You
And I love Buddha too
Ramakrishna, Guru Dev
Tao Te Ching and Mohammed

Why do some people say
That there is just one way
To love You, God, and come to You?
We are all a part of You

You are un-nameable
You are unknowable
All we have is metaphor
That's what time and space are for

Is the universe Your thought?
You are and You are not
You are many, You are one
Ever ending, just begun

Alright, alright, alright
I love You and Buddha too

Oh Jesus, I love You
And I love Buddha too
Ramakrishna, Guru Dev
Tao Te Ching and Mohammed

Why do some people say
That there is just one way
To love You, God and come to You?
We are all a part of You

Alright, alright, alright
I love You and Buddha too

Oh Jesus, I love You
(I love You, Jesus)
And I love Buddha too
Ramakrishna, Guru Dev
Tao Te Ching and Mohammed

Why do some people say
(I love You, Jesus)
That there is just one way
To love You God and come to You?
We are all a part of You

You are un-nameable
(I love You, Jesus)
You are unknowable
All we have is metaphor
That's what time and space are for

Is the universe Your thought?
(I love You, Jesus)
You are and You are not
You are many, You are one
Ever ending, just begun

Alright, alright, alright
(I love You, Jesus)
I love You and Buddha too
Alright, alright, alright
(I love You, Jesus)
I love You and Buddha too

And Buddha too, and Buddha too, and Buddha too
(I love You, Jesus)
And Buddha too, and Buddha too, and Buddha too
(I love You, Jesus)
And Buddha too, and Buddha too, and Buddha too
(I love You, Jesus)
And Buddha too, and Buddha too, oh yeah

God and The "Ethics" of Baruch Spinoza

Baruch or Benedict de Spinoza (Hebrew: ברוך שפינוזה‎, Portuguese: Bento de Espinosa, Latin: Benedictus de Spinoza) (November 24, 1632 – February 21, 1677) was a Dutch philosopher of Portuguese Jewish origin. Revealing considerable scientific aptitude, the breadth and importance of Spinoza's work was not fully realized until years after his death. Today, he is considered one of the great rationalists of 17th-century philosophy, laying the groundwork for the 18th century Enlightenment and modern biblical criticism. By virtue of his magnum opus, the posthumous Ethics, in which he opposed Descartes' mind–body dualism, Spinoza is considered to be one of Western philosophy's most important philosophers.

Samuel Shirley, who translated Spinoza's complete works into English, summed up the significance of Spinoza's philosophy as follows: “To my mind, although Spinoza lived and thought long before Darwin, Freud, Einstein, and the startling implications of quantum theory, he had a vision of truth beyond what is normally granted to human beings.”

Spinoza's philosophy is largely contained in two books: the Theologico-Political Treatise, and The Ethics. The former was published during his lifetime, but the latter, which contains the entirety of his philosophical system in its most rigorous form, was not published until after his death in 1677. The rest of the writings we have from Spinoza are either earlier, or incomplete, works expressing thoughts which were crystalized in the two aforementioned books (e.g., the Short Treatise and the Treatise on the Emendation of the Intellect), or else they are not directly concerned with Spinoza's own philosophy (e.g., The Principles of Cartesian Philosophy and The Hebrew Grammar). He also left behind many letters which help to illuminate his ideas and provide some insight into what may have been motivating his views. (Wiki)

The Teaching of Rabbi Yahshuah ben Adam

Be Love. (Aleph-Bayt)

It's the true teaching of the rabbi Yahshua. (Jesus) The teacher and mystic who always called "God" the Aleph-Bayt. (Ab) and taught that The Kingdom of God is within - Luke 17:21

He was crucified for saying the simple words "yod heh" --- "I AM"

Love your neighbor as yourself. Love your enemy. Turn the Other cheek. Be Love -- (Unconditional Love)

Be the Aleph-Bayt. Be the yod heh.
It's within, and in everything. It's ALL that exists. We had forgotten but we are now remembering.
We were asleep, but now we awaken. Blind, but now see.

Let there be Light. Our Universe 13.7 Billion Years ago....

"The Hubble Space Telescope has captured the earliest image yet of the universe -- just 600 million years after the Big Bang, when the universe was just a toddler.
Scientists released the photo yesterday at a meeting of the American Astronomical Society. It's the most complete picture of the early universe so far, showing galaxies with stars that are already hundreds of millions of years old, along with the unmistakable primordial signs of the first cluster of stars." ....
Actually, you can see, after a fashion, farther back in the comfort of our own home, if you have a TV with the older picture tube (not an LCD or a plasma set). Cut the set on to an unused channel (you may have to disconnect the cable input), and look at the static on the screen. About 10% of that static is caused by radiation emitted about 379,000 years after Creation during a period called The Recombination (This is when God actually said "Let there be light!"). The radiation was originally an orange-colored light, but space has expanded by a factor of over a thousand over the 13.7 billion years since then, thus stretching the orange light wavelengths a thousand times, changing them into the microwaves that react with the old-style television tube."

Albert Einstein and the Nazarene.

...

As a child I received instruction both in the Bible and in the Talmud. I am a Jew, but I am enthralled by the luminous figure of the Nazarene.... No one can read the Gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus. His personality pulsates in every word. No myth is filled with such life.

God according to Albert Einstein, Baruch Spinoza, Carl Sagan

Carl Sagan writes,

Some people think God is an outsized, light-skinned male with a long white beard, sitting on a throne somewhere up there in the sky, busily tallying the fall of every sparrow. Others—for example Baruch Spinoza and Albert Einstein—considered God to be essentially the sum total of the physical laws which describe the universe. I do not know of any compelling evidence for anthropomorphic patriarchs controlling human destiny from some hidden celestial vantage point, but it would be madness to deny the existence of physical laws.

And Einstein states:
I believe in Spinoza’s God who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who concerns himself with the fates and actions of human beings. (Albert Einstein)

And Spinoza writes:
Whatsoever is, is in God, and without God nothing can be, or be conceived. – Baruch Spinoza

We feel and Know that we are eternal. – Baruch Spinoza

God is the indwelling …… Baruch Spinoza

Do not weep; do not wax indignant. Understand. – Baruch Spinoza

Einstein believed that “God” exists in everything. He is the same kind of atheist as Baruch Spinoza. One that believed “God/Nature” is all there is.

"I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." (Albert Einstein, 1954)

Whatsoever is, is in God, and without God nothing can be, or be conceived. – Baruch Spinoza

“I have repeatedly said that in my opinion the idea of a personal God is a childlike one. You may call me an agnostic, but I do not share the crusading spirit of the professional atheist whose fervor is mostly due to a painful act of liberation from the fetters of religious indoctrination received in youth. I prefer an attitude of humility corresponding to the weakness of our intellectual understanding of nature and of our own being.”
Albert Einstein – 1949

However, Einstein’s God was not the God of most other men. … Einstein’s God appears as the physical world itself, with its infinitely marvelous structure operating at atomic level with the beauty of a craftsman’s wristwatch, and at stellar level with the majesty of a massive cyclotron.
Ronald W. Clark, Einstein: The Life and Times, New York: World Publishing, 1971, pp. 19-20.

The Ad Herennium - Memory Technique (90 BC)

Why is it that some images are so strong and sharp and so suitable for awakening memory, whilst others are so weak and feeble that they hardly stimulate memory at all ? We must enquire into this so as to know which images to avoid and which to seek.

"Now nature herself teaches us what we should do. When we see in every day life things that are pretty, ordinary, and banal, we generally fail to remember them, because the mind is not being stirred by anything novel or marvellous. But if we see or hear something exceptionally base, dishonorable, unusual, great, unbelievable, or ridiculous, that we are likely to remember for a long time.... We ought then, to set up images of a kind that can adhere longest in memory. And we shall do so if we establish similitudes as striking as possible; if we set up images that are not many or vague but active (imagines agentes); if we assign to them exceptional beauty or singular ugliness; if we ornament some of them, as with crowns or purple cloaks, so as the similitude may be more distinct to us; or if we somehow disfigure them, as by introducing one stained with blood or soiled with mud or smeared with red paint, so that it's form is more striking, or by assigning certain comic effects to our images, for that too, will ensure our remembering them more readily. The things we easily remember when they are real we likewise remember them without difficulty when they are figments." (Ad Herennium - 90 BC)

Mark 15:17
They put a purple robe on him, then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on him.

Isaiah 52:14
Just as there were many who were appalled at him — his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man and his form marred beyond human likeness—

John 19:34
Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.

Are you implying there was no historical Jesus ?

My Response to Rationalists:

You asked,
Are you implying there was no historical Jesus?

Jesus exists before History. Because he understood that he was the same “I am” that exists in all things before time.

You are the same “I am” – everything is “that”

Why does evolution stop at the monkey, the fish, the Icthys, the algae, the bacteria, the single celled organism, the zygote ?

Where does the Universe come from ?

What does the best Science tell us ?

From a single point? – A Quark ? A fermion ? A Higgs Boson, something smaller ?

Infinitly smaller – that means that we have all evolved from “that”

We are all made of the same stuff. Carl Sagan called it Star Stuff – and he was correct,

Einstein was Correct.

Baruch Spinoza was Correct.

The Essenes, the Nazarenes were Correct.

Luke 17:21 Research by Ilaria Ramelli - Catholic University Milan

....In this study Ilaria Ramelli clearly demonstrates that in Luke 17:21 the right translation of Jesus’ words is not, “God’s Kingdom is among you,” or “in the midst of you,” as modern versions into English and other languages gener- ally render, but “God’s Kingdom is inside you.” Strong support for the latter comes from ancient Syriac versions of this and other Gospel
passages, from a systematic investigation of the meaning of e)nto/j in all of Greek literature anterior to, and contemporary with, Luke, and from a careful analysis of the expression e)nto/j + genitive in the New Testament and the Septuagint. Ramelli argues that, if the evangelist
had meant “The Kingdom of God is among you,” he would have used, not e)nto\j u(mw=n, but e)n me/sw| u(mw=n, which is widely at- tested in this meaning in the New Testament and especially in Luke.

Moreover, the translation that Ramelli advocates and that the Syriac versions support fits better in the immediate context of an address to the Pharisees and in Luke’s theology and conception of God’s Kingdom, and is also corroborated by a Kingdom logion in the Gospel of Thomas and by Greek and Syriac Patristic exegesis.
